Building spice-client-gtk-3.0 from aurget you need to edit PKGBUILD with this http://pastebin.com/C66H8nvx

And for building libvirt-glib from aurget requires changing the PKGBUILD with http://pastebin.com/MV9J1TxN

Hi,

I had read about git add -p somewhere some time ago, but I forgot it again, so thanks for reminding me of that useful command. Indeed, I would usually just copy files around, and cleanup the working index until the patch matches what I want, but using git add -p as you proposed is definitely more effective.

Cheers,

Mika

I find git GUI very useful for these kinds of operations. I often found that I would get in a muddle when there were changes that I wanted in the same hunk as ones that I didn't. The same process in git gui is:

1. Click "Amend last commit"
2. Select the changes that you don't want
3. Right click and click "unstage these lines"
4. Click commit

I use it all the time in preference to add -i or add -p but ymmv
